After my class last week where we talked about leadership character and the formation of a leader, this morning during my spiritual formation time I was reading through Galatians 1 – 2 and Paul was talking about why the Galatians should listen to him.
He doesn’t speak to manipulate crowds, curry favor with God or to get applause. The message says that it isn’t for human optimism.
What was so attractive about Paul that people listened to him?
Verse 10 says that he is a slave/servant of Jesus.
That’s the only thing that made Paul stand apart from other leaders. He seemed to make everyone mad, people wanted to kill him, but he could hold onto his calling and that he lived as a slave to the One who called him.
